During my junior year of college, I studied abroad with the Sea Education Association (SEA). SEA utilizes experiential learning to teach students about oceanographic research, sailing, leadership, and the culture and history of the places each trip visits.
My cohort sailed around the east coast of New Zealand, starting in Auckland, heading north to the Bay of Islands, and then heading progessively further south with stops in Wellington, Dunedin, and Christchurch.
